Sustainable Sightseeing: Electric Tourism Fleet Rolls Out
Under the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy (2026–2030), DTTDC is introducing a dedicated fleet of nine-meter air-conditioned electric tourism buses. Designed to replace conventional city tour buses, these eco-friendly vehicles aim to lower the carbon footprint of city sightseeing while connecting 21 major heritage, spiritual, and architectural landmarks.

The Heritage of Delhi: Explores historical depth, winding through Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar, and ancient architecture around Mehrauli and Hauz Khas.
Delhi’s Sacred Harmony: Connects central and northern spiritual markers, including the Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, Purana Qila, and Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah.
Echoes of Delhi: The longest route, weaving together archaeological sites and modern cultural hubs like the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Chhatarpur Mandir, and Linga Bhairavi Sannidhanam.
Tech-Enhanced Exploration & Night Tourism
To engage modern travelers and younger generations, Delhi Tourism is leveraging interactive technology. Recent tourism showcases revealed AR/VR heritage walks that allow visitors to view historical monuments in their original, centuries-old grandeur via augmented reality headsets.
Additionally, city tourism officials are expanding night tourism initiatives. Evening circuits like "Dilli ka Dil aur Virasat" feature illuminated landmarks—including Kartavya Path, National War Memorial, and the Qutub Complex—offering travelers a cooler, atmospheric alternative to daytime heat.
"Delhi has the distinct advantage of pairing world-class connectivity and modern event infrastructure with thousands of years of living history, gastronomy, and spirituality," noted officials during the unveiling of the capital's latest tourism roadmap.
